The Landsberger Arkaden is a 36-story high-rise building reaching about 142 meters high, dominating a section of the Lichtenberg skyline. Its aluminum facade features automatic blinds that provide shade and help reduce energy consumption throughout the year.
Construction started in 1996 at the corner of Landsberger Allee and Storkower Straße, addressing an abandoned industrial site that had remained undeveloped for years. Italian architect Aldo Rossi designed the original concept before his death in 1997, after which the project continued under new direction.
