Mellrichstadt

Mellrichstadt is a town in the Rhön-Grabfeld region of Bavaria, situated at an elevation of 270 meters and surrounded by six residential quarters. The location focuses on manufacturing, particularly metalworking and plastics production, with dedicated industrial zones serving these sectors.

The town received city rights in 1233, making it one of the older settlements with continuous urban development over centuries. The original medieval city wall remains intact and stands as evidence of more than a thousand years of habitation.
