Alte Burg

Alte Burg is a Celtic fortification situated on a ridge of Burgberg hill at approximately 695 meters elevation. The site is enclosed by ditches and ramparts that extend across its terrain.

The site originates from the Celtic period and was later studied by archaeologists. Excavations conducted in 1894 and again in 2006 revealed evidence of human activity dating back centuries before the Common Era.
