The venue underwent complete renovation and reopened in September 2012 with modern technology and updated architecture. The city invested around 32 million euros to expand the facility with a conference center and new glass foyer.

The venue is located on Julius-Wegeler-Straße in central Koblenz and is easily accessible by bus or car with ample parking nearby. The building has accessible entrances for wheelchair users, designated disabled parking spaces, and facilities including restrooms and a coat check service.

The building connects directly to a nearby hotel through a passageway that is open during daytime hours from Monday to Saturday. This allows guests staying at the hotel to reach events without going outside.
