Hansjakob Way II, Hiking trail in Black Forest, Germany
The Hansjakob Way II extends across 93 kilometers through the Middle Black Forest region, featuring varied landscapes from dense forests to open meadows.
Named after Heinrich Hansjakob, a 19th-century Badian writer and pastor, this circular trail was established in 1983 by the Schwarzwaldverein organization.
Information boards along the path present details about Heinrich Hansjakob's literary works and their connection to specific locations in the Black Forest.
The trail splits into five segments, starting from Haslach im Kinzigtal, with white diamond markers featuring a black hat guiding hikers throughout the route.
The path reaches its highest point at Brandenkopf, 946 meters above sea level, offering views from observation towers at Brandenkopfturm and Urenkopfturm.
