Farrenkopf, Mountain summit in Ortenau, Germany

Farrenkopf rises to 789 meters in the Black Forest and can be reached by several marked hiking trails. The routes feature steep sections with views over multiple valleys below.

The Farrenkopf lies on the Westweg long-distance trail from Hausach to the Büchereck, and a second waymarked route climbs from Gutach. The Hasemann Hut on the summit is named after the painter Wilhelm Hasemann and is maintained by the Schwarzwaldverein Gutach. The sources record no founding date for these trails.
