Duravit Design Center, Design exhibition building in Hornberg, Germany.

The Duravit Design Center is a five-storey exhibition building in Hornberg, built in 2003/2004. Philippe Starck designed it, and the local firm Wöhrle + Wöhrle planned it. The trapezoidal building is 19 metres high, and on its south side stands a 7.1-metre sculpture of a toilet, used as a viewing platform and lit at night.

The building was constructed in 2003/2004 for the sanitary ceramics company Duravit in Hornberg. It was designed by Philippe Starck and planned by the local architecture firm Wöhrle + Wöhrle. In 2006 the Design Center received the iF communication design award in the architecture & public spaces category. It was also a stop of the exhibition "Wasser ist Leben", the result of an international poster competition.

The building was a stop on the touring exhibition "Wasser ist Leben" (Water is Life), which grew out of an international poster competition. The 7.1-metre toilet sculpture on the south facade is used as a viewing platform and is lit at night, so it reads as a landmark above Hornberg after dark.

Visits to the exhibition and trying out the sanitary products on site require prior registration; the sources give no opening hours or admission details.
