Black Forest Costume Museum, Folk costume museum in Haslach im Kinzigtal, Germany.
The museum exhibits over 100 examples of traditional Black Forest attire displayed in large showcases within a former Capuchin monastery building.
Established in 1980, the museum occupies the only preserved Baroque Capuchin monastery from the 17th century in southern Germany.
The collection features regional dress variations from different Black Forest areas, including Central, Southern, Northern, and Breisgau territories.
From April through October, visitors can explore the museum Tuesday to Sunday, while winter hours run Tuesday to Friday with a midday closure.
The exhibition includes a notable woman's headdress from St. Georgen that weighs three kilograms, demonstrating the substantial nature of historical accessories.
