Palais Thermal

Palais Thermal is a thermal bath building in Bad Wildbad featuring twelve thermal pools set within ornately decorated Moorish halls. The facility provides various water experiences at different temperatures and with different functions throughout its spaces.

The building opened in 1847 as Graf-Eberhard-Bad, though use of the thermal springs at this location appears in records from 1521. This long history demonstrates how the site developed into an important center for bathing culture over many centuries.

The interior brings together classicist architecture with oriental decorative elements and Art Nouveau window glazing added during renovations. Walking through the halls, you notice how European and Eastern design traditions meet to create the character of the space.

The bath house operates on different schedules depending on the day of the week and offers day tickets at varying prices. Plan to spend enough time exploring the different areas and temperatures, and check the current opening times before your visit.

The wellness complex includes multiple Finnish saunas at different temperatures along with meditation spaces and specialized treatment rooms. These added facilities extend the offerings far beyond traditional thermal bathing.
