The racing track stretches 3.715 kilometers along Route 82, featuring five hairpin turns and connecting the towns of Fell and Thomm.
From 1990 to 2011, this racing event served as a crucial round in the European Hill Climb Championship before its discontinuation in 2012.
German hill climbing competitions operate independently, following local traditions rather than adhering to a national championship structure.
The course includes an elevation change of 233 meters with an average gradient of 6.3 percent throughout the racing distance.
Italian racer Simone Faggioli established the track record in 2010, completing the ascent in 89 seconds at 148.954 kilometers per hour.
