Hohe Warte

Hohe Warte is a forested mountain in Engelskirchen that rises to 360 meters and features several marked hiking trails. An observation tower at the summit provides visitors with views across the surrounding landscape.

A fortification was built around 1250 during the medieval period to mark territorial boundaries in the region. This structure was part of the defensive systems of that era.
