Harrys Hamburger Hafenbasar, Maritime museum in HafenCity, Hamburg, Germany
The museum displays over 365,000 artifacts across 33 themed rooms within 200 square meters in a former floating crane named Greif.
Harry Rosenberg, a former sailor, established the museum in 1952, initially as a stamp and coin shop decorated with souvenirs from his voyages.
The collection includes objects from African tribes, Asian temples, South American communities, and maritime artifacts gathered through decades of global trade.
Entry costs 5 euros for adults, 3 euros for children 6-12 years, and groups of 10 or more receive a discount rate of 4 euros per person.
This museum allows visitors to handle and purchase exhibition pieces, making it the only institution worldwide where displayed items are available for sale.
