MobileLifeCampus, Educational complex in Wolfsburg, Germany.
MobileLifeCampus is an educational complex on a large site in Wolfsburg featuring a five-story building with a facade of alternating open and closed surface sections. Inside are offices, seminar rooms, a library, research facilities, dining areas, and event spaces.
Built between 2004 and 2006, the complex was subsequently acquired by Volkswagen AG. This established a center for professional training in the automotive sector on this site.
The AutoUni center teaches specialists from across the Volkswagen Group about automotive innovation and technology. The learning spaces are designed to encourage knowledge sharing and professional exchange among colleagues from different departments.
Visiting is best during business hours when seminars and tours may be offered. It is advisable to check in advance whether tours are possible, as the site is primarily used for work and training.
The building has an unusual folded ribbon shape that stretches across the site in one long form. This distinctive design allows for interesting connections between different parts of the complex.
