Prinzregenten-Theater

The Prinzregenten Theater features a main auditorium adorned with fresco paintings and gallery sections reminiscent of princely architecture and regents.

The theater opened its doors in January 1978 under the name Theater im Hemshof, and actor-director Bernhard F. Dropmann staged 55 premieres until 1990.

The venue maintains Palatinate dialect traditions through regular performances, with more than 9,000 shows presented, including 1,000 performances of 'Halt die Gosch, Bu!'

The theater presents performances almost daily throughout the year in weekly rotating blocks, with children's shows typically scheduled on Wednesdays and Sundays.

The Hortus Deorum courtyard transforms into an open-air theater during summer months, presenting both classical productions and comedic performances.
