The Sommerpalais features a south-facing Garden Salon measuring 36 meters in length with two supporting pillars and detailed stucco decorations.
Prince Heinrich XI Reuss Elder Line constructed the palace in 1779 after becoming an imperial prince, incorporating elements of French architectural design.
The museum houses copper engravings, historical caricatures, and the princely library collection, forming the Staatliche Bücher- und Kupferstichsammlung Greiz.
The palace opens from 10:00 to 17:00 between April and September, and from 10:00 to 16:00 from October through March, remaining closed on Mondays.
The ceremonial hall contains ornate stucco work with overdoors decorated by garlands and putti representing different allegorical themes from 1782.
