Yorck bridges

The Yorck bridges are a series of multiple parallel railway overpasses that cross over streets, constructed from stone with detailed ironwork details throughout. The structures rest on sturdy pillars and shape the streetscape with their industrial form.

The unusual arrangement with multiple stacked railway levels creates a distinctive pattern of layered arches overhead. This design shows how engineers cleverly used different heights to fit all rail lines across the space without sprawling.
