CGM Arena, Multifunktionsarena im Sportpark Oberwerth in Koblenz, zweitgrößte Halle in Rheinland-Pfalz
CGM Arena is a multi-purpose hall in Koblenz that holds up to 5,000 people and covers about 3,400 square meters of space. The building features high ceilings, six skylights that bring in natural light, and flexible layouts that can be reconfigured for different types of events.
The hall opened in 1990 and was originally called Sporthalle Oberwerth, making it the largest sports hall in Rheinland-Pfalz at that time. It was renamed Conlog Arena in 2012 and later became CGM Arena in 2018 following sponsorship changes.
The hall is easily accessible by public transport and located near Koblenz main train station with direct bus connections to the venue. During events, a free shuttle bus runs between the city center and the arena, and about 500 parking spaces are available nearby.
The arena is part of a larger sports and recreation area called Oberwerth and has hosted world championships in fencing and karate as well as the Koblenz Open tennis tournament. Many visitors combine their visit to the hall with outdoor activities in the surrounding leisure area.
