St. Fides und Markus is a Catholic parish church in Sölden featuring bright white walls, large windows, and a tower topped with a gilded double cross. The building maintains its traditional form and stands as a recognizable landmark in the village.
The church was founded in 1087 as a priory by Benedictine monk Ulrich of Regensburg under the protection of Cluny Abbey. In 1115 it received relics of Saint Fides of Agen, which gave the building its name.
