Hochhaus Bugginger Straße 50

Hochhaus Bugginger Straße 50 is a 16-story residential tower with 139 apartments spread across around 7,000 square meters of living space. The building stands about 45 meters tall and defines the skyline of Freiburg's Weingarten neighborhood with its clean, modern form.

The tower was built in 1968 and underwent comprehensive renovation work between 2009 and 2010. This transformation made it the world's first certified passive house high-rise, setting new standards for energy-efficient building practices.
