Nachrichten Kaserne

Nachrichten Kaserne is a large complex of multiple buildings spread across about 9 hectares in Heidelberg that served both military and medical functions. The site includes various structures, among them a former riding hall now used for events.

The complex was built between 1937 and 1939 as a German military barracks serving the Wehrmacht. After World War II, the United States took over the facility and operated it as an Army hospital.
