Villa Rumpf, Protected heritage villa at Heiliger See, Potsdam, Germany
The red brick tower villa features Dutch Neo-Baroque architecture, a bell-shaped dome, curved gables, and several balconies overlooking the lake.
Built in 1894 for painter Fritz Rumpf, the villa burned down in 1945 and served as headquarters for French military liaison mission until 1947.
The garden pavilion incorporates wooden columns modeled after those in Saint Peter's Basilica in Rome, reflecting European architectural influences.
The villa underwent extensive renovation, including the installation of an elevator and air conditioning system in the attic floor.
Fashion designer Wolfgang Joop acquired the property in 2000 and transformed it into the headquarters of his fashion label Wunderkind.
