Nikolaikirche

Nikolaikirche is a Gothic church standing as ruins in Zerbst, with stone walls and foundations still visible that reveal medieval construction methods. The remaining arches and window openings show what the original layout of the church looked like.

Nikolaikirche was built in the Middle Ages and served as a main building in Zerbst until 1945, when World War II bombing destroyed it. Since then it has stood as ruins, marking the effects of war on the city.
