Trödelsteine

The Trödelsteine mountain reaches an elevation of 613 meters and features multiple basalt cliffs along with a column and boulder field of feldspar basalt.

The E1 European long-distance path was established to cross through the Trödelsteine region, connecting it to an extensive network of traditional hiking routes.

Local hiking groups maintain several marked trails across Trödelsteine, including the Hellerhöhenweg and Siegerland-Höhenring, which preserve regional outdoor traditions.

Visitors can access the mountain from two parking areas: the Unteres Buchhellertal hiking lot and the Wahlbach multi-purpose hall parking in Burbach.

The summit area contains a designated natural monument spanning 0.3 hectares, where distinct geological formations create a specific mountain landscape.
