Vorwerker Friedhof

Vorwerker Friedhof is a large cemetery and park in Lübeck with sprawling green areas, winding paths, and different memorial sections. The grounds include multiple burial fields and resting areas arranged throughout a peaceful landscape.

This cemetery opened in 1907 after the older St. Lorenz cemetery ran out of space, following plans created by a renowned landscape architect. It has since served as a burial ground for people of many backgrounds and nationalities.
