EWF-Biathlon-Arena, Biathlon stadium in Willingen, Germany
The EWF-Biathlon-Arena contains a 2.5-kilometer illuminated roller ski track and 25 shooting lanes for small-caliber rifles at an altitude of 650 meters.
The facility opened in 1997 with a roller ski track, expanded in 2001 with 15 shooting lanes, and added 10 more lanes plus a functional building in 2007.
The arena forms part of the regional winter sports infrastructure near the Willingen ski area and the Mühlenkopfschanze ski jumping facility.
The venue maintains year-round operation through artificial snow production systems installed in 2009, supporting both training sessions and regional competitions.
Visitors aged 16 and above can participate in guided shooting sessions with biathlon rifles, including optional penalty loops for missed targets.
