Wipperaue Eulenbecke

Wipperaue Eulenbecke is a protected nature reserve near Marienheide that encompasses wetlands, open meadows, and forested sections. The Wipper River winds through the landscape, creating diverse habitats across the area.

The reserve received official protection status in 2005 to safeguard the natural habitats and water systems in the region. This decision helped secure the Wipper River and its surrounding ecosystems for future generations.
