Deichtor-Center

Deichtor-Center is a modern office building with a distinctive triangular form and facades of aluminum and glass. The structure spans ten floors with approximately 24,000 square meters of total floor space, providing offices and various service areas for its tenants.

The building was constructed in 2002 by Hamburg entrepreneur Dieter Becken as part of the city's modern office development. It passed through several owners before BNP Paribas Real Estate acquired it in 2020.

The building houses a ZDF television studio and medical facilities that bring daily activity to the site. This mix of broadcast media and healthcare services creates a lively blend of professionals moving through the spaces throughout the day.

The building provides underground parking with 146 spaces and seven elevators across three core zones to serve all floors. Public transportation access is convenient due to its location near the Kontorhausviertel in the city center.

The Z-shaped office layout creates a visual connection to the historical architecture of the nearby Kontorhausviertel district. This design choice makes the building an interesting example of how modern construction responds to local architectural traditions.
