Moschee Göttingen

The Mosque in Göttingen is a prayer house with modern architecture that consists of several rooms and accommodates about 400 visitors in the prayer hall. The building also includes a library area and spaces for events and instruction.

Construction began in 2003 and the mosque opened in 2007, making it the first of its kind in the city. The planning process required adjustments to the minaret design to address neighborhood concerns about parking and noise.
