Curioseum

The Curioseum is a transport museum in Willingen housed across two floors that displays historical vehicles, agricultural machinery, and collected items arranged along an accessible pathway. The exhibition features classic cars, motorcycles, farming equipment, and maritime objects from different periods.

The museum grew from one person's decades-long effort to collect historical vehicles and objects from across Germany and beyond. That private collection eventually became a public exhibition that documents how transportation and farming evolved.

The exhibition displays vintage farming equipment and machinery that tells the story of how agricultural work was done in earlier times, and these objects show the methods and traditions that shaped the region's rural heritage.

The barrier-free pathway through both floors allows visitors to explore the collection at their own pace and reach all exhibits easily. You can move freely between different vehicle types and machinery to examine the details that interest you.

The collection includes rare small cars and sports models, among them legendary vehicles from the mid-20th century. Some of the cars on display were built in only small numbers and are now highly sought after by collectors worldwide.
