Bono East Region

Bono East Region is an administrative division in central Ghana located inland from the coast. Several Municipal and District Assemblies work together to manage local affairs across the territory.

The region came into being through a public vote that overwhelmingly supported its separation from a larger neighboring region. This decision reshaped how administration was organized across this part of Ghana.
