Saint Therapon is a Greek Orthodox church beside Mytilene's port, built on the cross-in-square plan. Its architect was Argyris Adalis, a Lesbos native and pupil of Ernst Ziller. The exterior mixes Baroque Revival, Rococo Revival, Neoclassical and Gothic Revival elements, and Gothic details give the building a style found nowhere else in Greece.

The church was envisioned by Kallinikos, Metropolitan of Mytilene and later Patriarch of Alexandria, who organised fundraising for its construction. Work began in the early 19th century and the building was completed in 1935 to designs by the Mytilene-born architect Argyris Adalis, a pupil of Ernst Ziller. Services started in 1900, while the church was still unfinished.

The church is dedicated to Saint Therapon, a bishop of Cyprus martyred in the 4th century. Its construction was initiated by Metropolitan Kallinikos of Mytilene, later Patriarch of Alexandria, who organized fundraising for the building. The church stands next to the town port, which is also dedicated to the saint.
