Penteli Observatory

Penteli Observatory is an astronomical facility on Mount Penteli equipped with telescopes and measurement instruments for observing the sky. The station conducts research and supports scientific studies of celestial objects and cosmic phenomena.

The observatory began operations in 1937 and received a major telescope in 1955 as a gift, significantly enhancing the country's astronomical capabilities. These instruments originated in the 19th century and shaped the facility's history through the decades.
