Thessaloniki Museum of Cinema, Film museum in Thessaloniki port district, Greece
The Cinema Museum occupies 1100 square meters within Warehouse A at the Port of Thessaloniki, displaying cameras, projectors, and film equipment.
The institution opened in 1995 during Thessaloniki's preparation to become the Cultural Capital of Europe in 1997, later integrating the Nikos Bililis collection.
The museum preserves two thousand photographs from Greek films, along with vintage movie posters, newsreels, and musical soundtracks from national productions.
The facility operates Monday through Friday from 9:00 to 15:00, with extended hours until 22:00 on Fridays, offering regular admission at 3 euros.
Researchers can access the comprehensive cinema archive containing detailed documentation of Greek films produced from 1985 to the present day.
