Châtillon-sur-Seine, Medieval commune in Côte-d'Or, France
Located near the sources of the Seine River, Châtillon-sur-Seine features stone buildings, traditional houses, and ancient fortifications along its waterways.
The town was divided between the Duchy of Burgundy and Bishop of Langres until the end of the 16th century when both parts merged into one settlement.
The Musée du Pays Châtillonnais displays archaeological treasures including the Vix Grave findings, representing Celtic aristocratic burial practices from 500 BCE.
