The church presents a rectangular hall with two Gothic naves divided by cylindrical pillars that extend into prismatic ribs forming vaults.
The original structure dates from the 9th century, with its bell tower added in the 11th century and substantial rebuilding occurring in the 16th century.
The church houses the University bell from 1431, which announced gatherings at the newly established institution and remains in place today.
The church welcomes visitors daily from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM at 47 Rue Gambetta, with free entry throughout the year.
The bell tower stands 24 meters tall, displaying a series of round arches and arcades arranged in an intricate pattern.
