Hotel Napoleon is a five-star property with seven floors in Paris's 8th arrondissement, located on Avenue Friedland near the Arc de Triomphe. The building offers spacious rooms and suites, many featuring large windows overlooking the city, along with furnishings and decorations from the Directoire era.
The hotel opened in 1928 and quickly became a gathering place for writers, artists, and actors of the era. It was upgraded to luxury status in 1929 and renamed Hotel Napoleon Paris, remaining under the same family ownership from that time forward.
The hotel bears the name Napoleon because of its location next to the Arc de Triomphe, a major city monument. Inside, the furnishings and decorations throughout draw from the Directoire era, giving the space a distinctive character that connects French history with contemporary hospitality.

Ernest Hemingway, Salvador Dali, and other renowned artists stayed here and signed a special guest book still kept at the hotel. Writer Mario Vargas Llosa visited after winning a Paris trip and met Miss France in the hotel, an experience that left a lasting impression on him.
