Château de Tauzia, Historical monument in Gradignan, France.

The Tauzia Castle features neoclassical architecture with a central rotunda and two lateral wings surrounded by a park with century-old trees.

Architect Victor Louis designed this residence in 1778 for Jean-Joseph de Castéra, a law professor and lawyer from Bordeaux.

The dining room in the rotunda maintains its original decorations with stucco work and wooden mosaic flooring from the 18th century.

Visitors can explore the estate during Heritage Days and enjoy free guided tours of both the park and castle grounds.

The castle housed German and Italian armies during World War II before being taken over by the French Forces of the Interior.
