Comédie de Paris, Historic theater in 9th arrondissement, France
The Comédie de Paris features two performance halls, with the main auditorium providing seating for 400 spectators at rue Pierre Fontaine.
The theater opened its doors on December 24, 1929, under the name Menus Plaisir, designed by architect Pingusson at the base of Montmartre.
The venue presents boulevard comedies and one-person shows throughout the year, maintaining French theatrical traditions in central Paris.
The theater operates Monday from 5 PM to 7 PM, Tuesday through Saturday from 2 PM to 7 PM, and Sunday from noon to 3:30 PM.
The management team changed in February 2022, when Adélie Gintrand, Arthur Jugnot, Morgan Spillemaecker, and Romain Thunin took leadership positions.
