Fort de Rosny, Military fortress in Rosny-sous-Bois, France

The fort occupies 25 hectares and features a rectangular design with four bastions, surrounded by 16-meter-wide moats and stone-built walls.

Built between 1840 and 1846, the fort was part of sixteen fortifications constructed to protect Paris following the vulnerabilities exposed during the 1815 Battle of Waterloo.

The fort transformed from a military installation to host the National Technical and Scientific Center of the National Gendarmerie since 1921.

The fort contains multiple buildings for personnel, thick-walled powder magazines, and two concealed gates in the northern and southern ramparts.

The facility now houses the National Agency for Information Systems Security, maintaining its historical role in national defense.
