The building originated as a castle in 1508, later transformed into a Visitandine convent during the 17th century before becoming a hospital in 1803.
The site includes exhibition spaces dedicated to documenting the emergence of Christianity in Gaul, with sections displaying artifacts from various periods.
Visitors can access the cultural center Wednesday through Saturday from 10 AM to 6 PM and Sundays from 2 PM to 6 PM, with adult tickets priced at 8 euros.
The underground sections contain Saint Pothin's prison cell, marking an important location in the early spread of Christianity through ancient Gaul.
