Hôtel La Réserve is a luxury property on a private estate overlooking the Mediterranean, offering 27 rooms and suites plus 14 standalone villas. The buildings sit across expansive grounds and include dining spaces, a spa, and a private beach club.
La Réserve opened in the 1970s in Ramatuelle, in the Var department of Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur. A complete renovation led by architect Jean-Michel Wilmotte was finished in 2009, and the hotel has held the "palace" distinction since 2012. It belongs to the Michel Reybier Hospitality group.
The hotel has four restaurants. La Voile holds two Michelin stars under chef Eric Canino, and the beach annex on the Pampelonne beach was decorated by Philippe Starck. The other tables are Le Pool restaurant, La brasserie and Les terrasses La Muña.
The property sits about one hour from Toulon-Hyeres Airport with shuttle service to the beach club available to guests. The spa and dining areas are spread across the grounds, so walking between locations is normal.
The beach annex on Pampelonne beach was decorated by Philippe Starck, while the architecture and interior design of the 14 villas were entrusted to Remi Tessier of the agency Dernier Etage. The hotel has belonged to the Michel Reybier Hospitality group and is operated by Société Foncière PLM.
