Jardins d'Éole

Jardins d'Éole is a green space in northern Paris offering areas for play, sports, and walking spread across the site. You'll find football fields, basketball courts, playgrounds, and sandy play areas situated among residential buildings.

This park opened in 2007 on a former railway yard site, created in response to local residents' demands for green space. The transformation of this industrial area into a public gathering place marked a shift in how the neighborhood developed.

The Grand Parquet theater tent, established in 2011 at 35 rue d'Aubervilliers, presents performances and cultural events throughout the year.

The site is accessible for people with mobility challenges, and facilities are clearly marked throughout. It's best visited during fair weather when outdoor activities are most enjoyable.

The site includes a community garden where residents grow vegetables using ecological methods and share the experience of urban farming. This garden demonstrates that local food production is possible even in the heart of the city.
