Orgues de Flandre, Contemporary residential complex in 19th arrondissement, Paris, France.

Orgues de Flandre is a residential complex featuring four towers, with the highest rising to about 123 meters. The site spreads across six hectares and contains multiple interconnected structures ranging from 25 to 40 stories.

The complex was built between 1974 and 1980 according to designs by German architect Martin Schulz Van Treeck. The project aimed to address housing shortages in Paris through social housing construction.

The buildings carry names drawn from musical vocabulary, and their facades feature details resembling piano keys and mechanical organs. Visitors notice these playful architectural references as they move through the complex.

The complex is located in the 19th arrondissement of Paris and is easily reached by public transport. The spacious outdoor areas are suitable for walking and viewing the architecture from outside.

The facades were partly influenced by origami techniques, evident in the distinctive corbels and geometric elements. This unusual design inspiration gives the complex a distinctive visual identity.
