Le Fresnoy

Le Fresnoy is a contemporary arts center in Tourcoing offering education, production, and distribution of artistic, audiovisual, and digital works. The facility houses studios, workshops, and exhibition spaces designed for diverse artistic practice.

Founded in 1997 by Alain Fleischer, the center occupies a former entertainment venue that originally operated between 1905 and 1984. The transformation of this historic site into an arts institution marked a significant new chapter for the location.

Artists and students from multiple countries collaborate here using professional equipment and methods that blend different artistic disciplines. This exchange between established creators and emerging talent shapes the daily life of the place.
