Marseille History Museum, Archaeological museum in Centre Bourse, France

The Marseille History Museum spans 3,500 square meters and features permanent exhibitions, temporary displays, a documentation center, and an educational auditorium.

Archaeological excavations in 1967 during the Centre Bourse construction revealed substantial Greek fortifications, Roman structures, and medieval artifacts spanning 26 centuries.

The museum exhibits include the world's largest collection of ancient ships, fragments of the fifth-century Malaval church, and numerous archaeological discoveries.

Located at 2 rue Henri Barbusse, the museum opens Tuesday through Sunday from 9:00 to 18:00, with regular admission at 6 euros.
