Église Saint-Ferréol les Augustins

Église Saint-Ferréol les Augustins is a Gothic church standing at Quai des Belges overlooking the Old Port. The interior features neogothic architecture with a notable organ from the 19th century and various religious artworks.

The site was originally used by the Knights Templar before passing to Augustinian hermits in 1369. A new church building rose in 1447 and was later reworked in neogothic style.

The church takes its name from the Augustinian hermits who made their home here starting in the 14th century. Visitors today encounter religious sculptures and family tombs that reflect the building's long connection to Marseille's prominent families.

The church sits right at the harbor and is easy to reach on foot from the center. Visitors should expect narrow alleys in the surrounding area and have the best chance to view the building during daytime hours.
