Opera-Theatre of Clermont-Ferrand, Opera house and theatre in central Clermont-Ferrand, France.

The Opera-Theatre features a grand hall with 600 seats, ornate decorations, painted dome ceilings, and gilded details throughout its Italian-style architecture.

Constructed between 1891 and 1894 under Mayor Amédée Gasquet's direction, the building replaced the former fabric market hall from the early 19th century.

The venue presents operas, theatrical performances, masterclasses, and musical events throughout the season, including the International Singing Competition of Clermont-Ferrand.

Tickets for performances range from 15 to 50 euros, with special rates for young audiences and designated entrances for people with reduced mobility.

The 2013 renovation uncovered original 1904 frescoes by Louis Retru behind the foyer's wall hangings and modernized the stage machinery.
