The Pôle universitaire Pierre-Jakez-Hélias is a university campus located in the Créac'h-Gwen area with buildings housing different academic departments and facilities of the University of Western Brittany. The campus was established in 1996 and named after a French writer who worked to preserve Breton cultural traditions. It developed as part of the university's expansion in the Quimper region.
