Promenade du quai de Grenelle – Square des Martyrs-Juifs, Memorial park in 15th arrondissement, France.
The square extends along the Seine River banks, featuring bronze statues and inscriptions that commemorate the victims of World War II persecution.
The square was established in 1989 at the former location of Velodrome d'Hiver, where French authorities detained Jewish citizens in July 1942.
The central monument, designed by Walter Spitzer and Mario Azagury, represents men, women, and children affected by the 1942 roundup.
Visitors can reach the memorial park using Metro Line 6 at Bir-Hakeim station, with the Eiffel Tower visible from multiple vantage points.
Annual ceremonies held on the first Sunday after July 16 include reading the names of victims from the Velodrome d'Hiver roundup.
