Tour Neptune is an office skyscraper in the La Défense business district of Courbevoie, rising 113 meters with a geometric form wrapped in glass and steel. The tower contains 25 floors housing office spaces throughout its structure.
Tour Neptune opened in 1975 as one of the initial skyscrapers designed for La Défense, conceived by architect Jacques Binoux. This building played a part in establishing the district as a major business center.
The building reflects how Paris reshaped its western suburbs into a global business hub in the decades after the 1970s. You can sense this shift in the mix of office towers and urban spaces around it.
The tower has 15 elevators serving all floors for convenient vertical movement throughout the building. It sits directly next to public transportation with easy access to routes heading toward central Paris.
The building maintains much of its original design despite decades of changes throughout the district around it. This makes it a visible reminder of La Défense's early days as a modern business zone.
